title : Office politics

Workplace is always a fun n interesting place to slack about n joke around. This is so until the newer temp staffs arrived. Although the old n new temp staffs r under different reporting officers, the work that we do r exactly the same, so we will share the same office.

It shouldn't be much problem. However the atmosphere is somehow different from the previous. The new temp staffs (especially the girls) obviously don't want to interact with the old temp staffs. Their attitudes r very bad. Even if u talk to them, they don't even want to show any basic manner by facing to us. This angers my colleagues.

We judge them... in the end my colleague, ST bought kitkat to 'bride' them. Ha ha she said she wants to be nice (because we all become little mean monsters after the two months in RP ^~^).

The result didn't turn out good... That evening, we showed our friendliness by wanting for them after work as they seldom wait for us to leave together. Thus, for once we able to knock off together. A good sign isn't it?! Yet, the girls just walked off to the other pathway halfway, without notify us. It was so obvious that the girls didn't want to walk with us even though we heading to the same venue - the mrt station. This created more tension...

Then, the born of the 'spy', Sam ^o^. He is also the new temp, but he is more to our side because he came in more earlier than the others, n closer to the old temp. There was another girl that came in earlier n was close to us at that time. However, when she moved to the other side of the office, her attitude towards us changed as well T.T.

Back to Sam, he is trapped between us n the new temp staffs. He cannot rant like us, the old temp, but he also cannot show his attitude to the new temp (he still has to work there for the next ten weeks. Guess what?! He starts to count down already! Ha ha.) One of the new temp also regretted to come back to be temp staff. So this creates three different groups of people: the old temp, new temp n the natural temp. The natural ones is known as SPIES. Ha ha I was one of the spy!! I will always go in the room with new temp n said with smile, "R u guys free? ..." Talked a bit crap then went back to the old temp. It's fun doing so. Sam claimed that we r acting out 无间道!

Yesterday, during lunch, my colleague ST n I went to the north canteen because she is a vegetarian, while the rest including the new temp to the south. We thought that it will be the time for the old n new temp to bond n get closer. After having our lunch at the north, we went to look for the others at the south. We also do so, but this time we were unable to find them anywhere in the south canteen. We were so puzzled n went back to the office.

To our surprised, they were in the office already!! They came back so early?! They never come back on time de. So I asked out of my curiosity. The truth was that they had nothing to talk about n the lunch was carried out in silence. C how divided we r! Even our 'jokers' couldn't get along with them!!

The situation worsen in the afternoon, when we do our packing for the enrolment package... Although the old temp were instructed to do packing for other group of students, when we saw the new temp were going to pack for different group of students, we offered our help. While we were packing, one of the forms were all used up, thus we had to wait for the staff to print more. Meanwhile, the new temp still packing. Mark, the old temp questioned them politely but their reply was rude. Mark the impatient one was pissed off. More tension then...

So it formed the office conflict. Four more working days to go. I was so mean that I told my colleague that before we leave, we don't teach them anything especially the verification, such that to make them crazy after we leaves. They r going to be dead soon. They think that have someone is backing them, but they don't know who is the one with all the knowledge, who the really 'boss'.

Ps. Heard that they complain that we r pushing the all the jobs to them, not doing anything but to slack. They make noise when they were only doing all those simple, time-consuming things. But they don't know our pain to do all those verification in malay n to handle difficult parents over the phone.

THEY WILL SUFFER AFTER WE LEAVE!!
