Heard of mrt break down? Ya the trains frequently break down during rain. But do your shoes break down too? I encountered that today...

It had been raining continuously for days, mostly in the afternoon till evening. That means it rains while I knock off. When I reached home, my shoes were drenched. The next day, I have to wear the other shoes to work.

However, I had limited number of shoes that I could wear it to work. Thus, today my mom wanted me to go out with her to buy a new pair of working shoes. So, I wore a pair of very very old shoes out. Then, tragic happened...

While I was walking, I found out that the back of the shoe started to 'open its mouth'. The sole started to lose its contact with the body of the shoe. Oh dear! I was walking in the middle of the street!! Worse came to worse, the body of the shoe came off layer by layer, but there was no shops selling shoes nearby!

For emergency, my mom used plaster to stick the shoe back. Unfortunately, it didn't have much effect, the shoe still broke down after a while. Then, I had to drag my feet together with the shoe  such that the shoe would still look fine from above. T.T I didn't even have the strength to look at the expressions of the people around me.

When I finally saw a shoe shop, I gave up. I took off the shoe, walked barefooted towards the shop. ^~^ ha ha could imagine how people looked at me.

In the end, I bought a pair of new shoes n wore it directly home (of course got pay money la).

P.s. Never had been so embarrassed before... First time in my life...
