Been thinking of applying for scholarship if I can get a place in the university, such that I will not have to pay for the fee. Of course it is 'thinking' la. Whether I will really apply for one is still a myth ^^.
However, today, during assembly, Mr Ng (a teacher...) introduced us about a scholarship that can be apply via school basis. It is about entrepreneur. Quite interesting isn't it, but it should not concern me much since the main criteria is the academic result. My prelim result was... not good ^o^ although I had passed all the subjects.
Kk... so the day past like this until few of us were told to meet Mr Ng in the general office. ?_? I was wondering what was the issue...
Can u guess why we were told to meet him? Ya, for the scholarship. Further information was given about the scholarship to us. It was a Executive Development Scholarship provided by SPRING. Like other scholarships, interview is needed n Bond have to sign on. (I really wonder y I can be chosen for this!)
Interview... I hate interviews T.T. On the other hand, it is only valid if u get yourself a place in the university. That means they will not help u to get a place in the university. N if u r unable to get in a local university, even if u r selected, they will still reject u. So it will be safer if u applied after getting the A level result?!
The only benefit of applying via school is that u don't need to compete with other people in singapore. U will only compete with those in your school since only two will be selected for that.
So should I wait for my A level result first? (May not be able to get a seat in the local university...)
