title : Digital Images For Scrapbooking
After getting some beautiful scrapbooking papers for ur project, its time to grab some digital images to bring the cuteness of ur cards or scrapbooks to the next level ^^ .
Most of the time, digital images provided on the Internet requires u to pay before u can download the printable images for ur projects. Even though the websites are profit-driven, if the digital images provided r worth the price then y not pay a few dollars for the cute digital images that u can make full use of.
Here is my favourite website where I always go to grab my digital images when I was doing my cards especially when I was rushing for my last-min birthday cards ^~^. (Hmm... I dont remember using any digital for any member of the Animal Family ^0^) Maybe next time I should use more of digital images rather than photos since its a bit XIAN to keep on using and seeing the same old photos that had been used previously.
Milkcoffee Digital Stamps provide a variety of cute digital images for buyers. The digital images can be classified under many themes. Therefore buyers can used their digital images to make any kind of cards for any occasion. Not only so, there are many project ideas that u can adopt from the website itself as they often organise challenges for other amazing card makers to participate. Even though Milkcoffee Digital Stamps does sell their digi, there are also freebies to give away. So do take a look at the website to grab some free cute digi. Ps. Sometimes it is just insufficient to use only those digi freebies T.T and u dont feel like paying for it because u r still a poor student. Hence, its time to do some "magic" on the downloads such that u can have the cute digi without the watermark on it *u*.
I think I will be able to finish all the cards on time for the birthdays THIS YEAR!! ^^ Labels: Scrapbooking resources |

title : Felt Plushies
It has been an L-O-N-G time since my last update, but nothing much to update you guys too as u all know I will just stay at home for the whole day unless I really need to go out ^^. So today I just want to update my blog with something about felt plushies.
Few days back, Kirby, Gw and I went to Orchard mainly to accompany Kirby to buy her Jap textbook. We went to DAISO too because I was looking for some felt to do some craft works after watching some felt plushies Youtubes. The felt plushies were so kawaii~ Unfortunately, I didnt find the suitable felt in DAISO. I was so surprised that Gw was also looking for felt to make a pouch and a toy. Hmm... A bit difficult to imagine Gw doing craft work haha. Even though she wanted to make some stuff out of felt, she didnt have any design in mind. (-___-)" How can she not even think of what she wanted to make before searching for materials? According to Kirby, the SSC outlet has more options. Thus we decided to go to SSC next time to buy all the felt stuff. I have gone to a few websites about making felt plushies and one of that makes quite kawaii felt plushies is Hapyshoppe. If u r interested, u can go n take a look. It offers a lot of templates for people to DIY a felt plushies. I dont think Gw is into this kind of cute felt plushies *u*
Ps. This is one felt plushy that I wanted to make, however they didnt provide the template in the website TT.

title : New Laptop
After going to uni, I always wanted to get myslf a laptop because I might have to bring it to school. So finally I got mine today. The Acer Aspire V5 Touch. Sign~ In the end, I still got an Acer laptop. I didnt get myself the ASUS one that I saw yesterday because it was a old model n the last laptop available for purchase was the one that was used as the display. What on hell would I get myself a laptop that everyone has touched it and felt it before.
Thus the saleman recommended the Acer's laptops to me, from a 13 inch laptop to a 14 inch laptop that cost the same as the ASUS's one. One of it that he showed me was the Aspire V5 Touch. The appearance mehosomething similar to the ASUS's one and even the functions were somehow similar. The only difference was that the casing for Acer was those plastic kind but ASUS's was aluminum. The saleman said that it was better to get the plastic one instead of the aluminum one as once the aluminum got deformed, it would stay how it was forever. Moreover, it ran on an i7 processor and Window 8. The laptop also had a graphic card that was important to support those graphic softwares. Did I mention that it was touchscreen? ^^ However, the only thing that I didnt like about it was that I was heavy! It had a weight of 1.8kg. Haiz~ Heavy... I need to reconsider, so I went to Harvey Norman. Unfortunately, I couldnt find any that I prefer.
In the end, I got back to Challenger n bought the laptop at $999. Quite cheap wasnt it? Then I also got myself a printer since mine was going to break down soon. Thanks to Kirby, I got the printer at a cheaper price (Kirby, its time to renew ^^). I also got myself quite a few free stuff by extending the warrenty. Didnt intended to etend the warrenty since it was quite impossible for a laptop to break down in a year. However, the staff offer a choice that if I extend my warrenty, he would help me to install the Microsoft office n entitle me to free stuff. I think it was quite worth it as if I buy the Microsoft Office, I would also have to pay a few hundreds more to get more stuff (haha sounds like some aunty ^^).
Then, I was now blogging with my new laptop. The only problem that I was facing was that it was really different from XP. I really need some time to get use to Window 8.
Ps. Look forward for my next post XD.

title : Panda tranforming
It was rare for me to sit in front of the computer at this timing This was because I was writing my summary that I had to upload it before the next day. After my computer went blackout 2 times and I didnt save up my summary, I finally completed it and uploaded it. Now I was so tired -w- .
These few days, I was thinking to update my links to include those links of some DIY websites. This would save me the trouble to find through all the bookmarks in my computer to find a particular website that I wanted to invite and u can also access it find stuff that u r looking for, such as free scrapbooking papers and elements. I think I would update it soon but have to wait till I'm done with my school work. I have a lot, but too lazy to touch them since it's a ‘holiday'. K, I should stop here and get some sleep before I transform from tortoise to panda. |

title : Project group
I expected many projects that I have to do since I take Project and Facilities Mangement as my main course of study in the uni. However, the first project of my uni life is much tougher than I thought, not the content but the people. When the professor announced the group members in my team, my first reaction was "Sh*t". Y? This was because I was with a group of friends all from YJ. I saw them before but I didnt talk to them in jc. Thus I felt a bit uncomfortable just to imagine to work with them. Even I was not that willing to work with them, I couldnt change group -^-. We agreed to meet up on sunday for the project in UTown. God! I had to travel to school on sunday and it was so far away from my house. Majority agreed. We should do some research before we meet up but due to my going-to-spoilt com, I just did a very brief one and went for the meeting today. We started off with the analyzing of the questions since the questions seem to be easy but a bit tricky as well. Part a asked about the steps to time management for a project manager and the second question asked about the suggestions to let people know better about project mangement. After analysing, we gone forward to discuss about the overview. This was when I had some problems with the group of friends. My opinion was that the approach should be focusing on the big picture then zoom down to individual phase using a certain example. However, they felt that we should just focus on one small area. This would just make the project scope to narrow down. If we going to take that approach, then the content we would be able to cover in the report would be minimal. However, they thought that we might not be able to complete the report in time as we had to hand in everything by the following Thursday. They should use their brains lo. We had a total of 7 members in a group and we were only supposed to produce a report of 10 pages. If each one of us cobtributed to one part, we could finish it in no time. After arguing for a short while, we could not even a conclusion. Thus, we proceeded with the content first. As they discussed further, I found that they were way off from what they mentioned previously. So contradicting since they just rejected my suggestion to the max. The most retard thing they did was to use the planning one of the member took out to illustrate the time took in different phases. They was so happy when they saw the whole planning for a certain project had been planned out nicely already. This made them like those cheapo aunties who see discount items (their expressions were exactly like that). Could u imagine I was just sitting at a corner giving this kind of facial expression -___-"?! As they discussed, I found that there was a major problem among us. The problem was that the ex-YJians thought that we had the same thinking as them but we were not. In the end, I gave up on the first part becuse I really didnt know what they were going to do with it. Therefore, I forcused on the second part. It was about the suggestions. That meant that we should define a certain problem n suggest a solution for that. They talked a lot about enhancing the knowledge. Then I was like '?? Is that the problem or the solution? ' because from their 5 min speech I could not figure out what they trying to say pertening to the question. So I did what I was good at - question them. Again they didnt understand what I was trying to say lo even thought I asked whether that was the problem or the solution. They kept saying is to enhance people knowledge. !@#?* I felt like cursing them. After a while, the China YJian finally understand what I was saying n answered,"we can enhance it by having more classes... through mass media..."(in the end they also didnt include this in the report) -___-" I was waiting for them to say this earlier lo. We should not waste each other anymore so I told them to say the mainpoints. Then they thought I was in a rush. God! Y I was ended in a group of low efficiency!!! After all the rubbish, they started to split the work. Obviously I took the last part that I would not have to messy up with them. Then this afternoon, they approached the professor whether they were on the right track. Ha ha we interpreted the first part wrongly n had to redo everything again. Glad that I didnt do the first part. *Evil* Serve them right ^^. |

title : Last Sunday
Since I was on my way back on the train, I had a lot of time to update my blog. Hmm... lets me write about my day yesterday (It was still yesterday when I started writing this)... First of all, plz dont ask me out last min because I definitely wouldnt get out of my house or that I had already plan for my day! So sorry that u couldnt join u all for last lunch (?) yesterday. Yesterday, I was being dragged out of my bed as early as 8.30am by my mom. T.T I slept at around 1 the night before n yet I still had to wake up so early. Y? The reason that I had to wake up so early was that yesterday was the Chongpang's Open House n there would be activities held in the community centre from 9am. So we 'supposed' to get out of the house by 9. However, my sis dragged until 9 then willing to get up from the bed. We had a quick breakfast n went for the event... Actually there were nothing much about the event. It was about kampong spirit do the activities were all those kampong games. Thus i got myself a Hanna art on my hand ^^. The most attractive one was still the lucky draw although the gifts were not very good (?). The first prize was a 32 inch television, followed by a camera, a tower fan n two $100 Cityland vouchers n thats all -___-". We were so close to the first prize n there went my television T^T. Next, we went to Northpoint. (So guys, when u all at Chongpang, I was at Northpoint. Ha ha.) Initally, I wanted to go there was to buy my printer ink. It was empty again (I think I printed too much. Keeps on buying ink...) However, we ended up eating at the Breeks cafe. We ate a lot there. It proved again that the drinks n desserts were much better as compared to their main course. The next stop was the Popular. They were selling Fimo now ^^. Maybe next time could try to do some polymer DIY, but I think I need to get a craft oven first T.T . Kk back to the topic. I did not have a good experience this time round in the Popular. When I went to the cashier to pay for my things, the cashier seems very sleepy. Then he kept on scanning the things again n again (Maybe he was new so not familiar with the system). Therefore, after all the scanning n paying, I checked the receipt to double check. Normally I would not do so because it was too troublesome. Thanks to that sleepy cashier, I had to check the receipt again to ensure that the amount I paid was correct. Unfortunately I found out that that cashier had actually bill me more. So I went back to the cashier to ask him to help me check the values again. He looked at the receipt for a very long time before calling his manager out. I just wonder y he cannot settle that by himself?! Unfortunately, his manager was not in her good mood that day. Thus he was reprimanded right in front of me as well as many passerby. Although in the end the manager recalculated n returned me the extra, she seems to be very unwilling (giving me 'black face'). Where has the good servicing gone to? Although it would be frustrated to have inconsiderate staff, but she shouldnt score the staff in the public. She was spoilting the reputation of Popular and giving customers a bad experience. Ps. I kept this as my draft so long. Dont feel like editing it so ignore those error or weird expressions ^^ |
